We were contacted by a woman who had a flock of chickens that she loved, but no matter how hard she tried to predator-proof her yard and coop, predators kept getting in. She feared for her safety and asked if we would take her, and of course we said yes! Rita joined Rick Springfield's flock and our family. She has such a darling personality and is so curious and sweet, and already hops into our laps for love. We are so happy she is with us where she will be safe and adored for the rest of her life.
