Lolli the goat, living in sanctuary at The Gentle Barn Tennessee
Lolli was born on a freezing January day in 2018 and lost both back feet and the ends of her ears to frostbite. She had a difficult time keeping up with her mom and herd members, and would cry when left alone. Thanks to a concerned neighbor, we brought Lolli home to The Gentle Barn Tennessee to have the surgeries and prostheses, and later a wheelchair that she needed to run and play with ease.
Since we always try to keep families together at The Gentle Barn, we jumped at the chance to rescue her mom Minnie Mae and later, her dad Merlin too. Now the trio is incredibly bonded and loving and Lolli’s parents run beside her as she happily zooms around the yard daily.
