Read Lemon's Story ^{(In Memoriam)}

Lemon and her sisters were rescued right down the road from us in 2017. One of our neighbors called us after 11 turkeys showed up at their house and were hanging out with them in their yard. They had never seen them before so we took our trailer out to investigate. As soon as the turkeys saw our trailer they hopped right in as if they had been waiting for us the entire time! After holding them for several weeks while we tried to find out whom they belonged to, we welcomed them into our barn where they have proven to be some of the friendliest turkeys we had ever met. They loved to be held and cuddled and helped us teach every guest how friendly and sweet turkeys are!

Lemon was the sweetest and most reverent, sticking close to her sister Neptune at all times. When the blueberries were brought out, however, she would run right up to us becoming very assertive about her favorite treat. Lemon passed away after being with us for five years. We will miss her peaceful presence in our barnyard.
