Read Kahlua's Story ^{(In Memoriam)}

Kahlua belonged to a nice family along with other chickens. Tragically, a predator broke into their pen and killed all but Kahlua. We were asked to take Kahlua so she would be safe, have the company of others, and be a part of our loving family. We were thrilled to have her and wish we had more time with her. Sadly egg-laying chickens are highly prone to contracting cancer and do not have a long enough life span. Kahlua passed away in her sleep at the age of four. Kahlua was always happy, loved to explore and narrate her day, and was always kind. She will be in our hearts forever.
