Eddie was at a slaughterhouse and escaped along with the other five cows. They got through three fences and ran for hours through the streets of St. Louis. Eventually, they were rounded up and returned to the slaughterhouse. Because the community begged for their freedom and raised funds for their release, we were able to bring them to safety. Eddie has had to grow up very fast, but for the rest of his life, he’ll get to play, graze, explore, and be loved and cared for, along with his brothers, at The Gentle Barn Missouri.
